Мотор привода (drive motor) вращает барабан или агитатор. Основные типы:
- Асинхронный PSC/split-phase с конденсатором — старые Whirlpool direct drive, GE top-load, бюджетные Whirlpool/Amana VMW. Снизу машины.
- Трёхфазный инверторный (3-phase induction) — Whirlpool Duet/Cabrio/Maytag Bravos и др.; питается от отдельного блока управления мотором (motor control unit, MCU).
- Бесщёточный прямого привода (direct drive BLDC) — LG, Samsung, Whirlpool/Maytag Direct Drive: неподвижный статор (stator) на задней стенке бака (front-load) или снизу бака (top-load) и ротор (rotor) — «колпак» с магнитами на валу. Положение ротора читает датчик Холла (rotor position sensor).
- Коллекторный (universal, с щётками) — многие европейские front-load (Bosch, Miele, Indesit).
The drive motor turns the drum or agitator. Main types:
- PSC/split-phase induction with a capacitor — old Whirlpool direct drive, GE top-loads, budget Whirlpool/Amana VMW. Under the washer.
- 3-phase inverter induction — Whirlpool Duet/Cabrio/Maytag Bravos, etc.; driven by a separate motor control unit (MCU).
- Direct-drive brushless (BLDC) — LG, Samsung, Whirlpool/Maytag Direct Drive: a fixed stator on the back of the tub (front-load) or under the tub (top-load) and a rotor (magnet bell) on the shaft. A Hall sensor (rotor position sensor) reads rotor position.
- Universal brushed — many European front-loads (Bosch, Miele, Indesit).
Признаки поломкиSymptoms when it fails
- Барабан не крутится вообще, мотор молчит или гудит.Drum does not turn at all, motor silent or humming.

Мультиметр в режиме Ω (200 Ω) для обмоток и проверка на корпус (2 MΩ / самый высокий диапазон).
Multimeter on Ω (200 Ω) for windings, plus a ground check (2 MΩ / highest range).
- ✅ НормаNormal
Типично (сверить с tech sheet): LG direct drive — 5–15 Ω на каждую пару фаз статора; Whirlpool direct drive PSC — пусковая обмотка ~4–7 Ω, высокая скорость ~0.75–2 Ω, низкая ~1.5–3 Ω. На корпус — OL (нет утечки).
Typical (confirm with tech sheet): LG direct drive — 5–15 Ω per stator phase pair; Whirlpool direct-drive PSC — start winding ~4–7 Ω, high speed ~0.75–2 Ω, low ~1.5–3 Ω. To ground — OL (no leakage).
- ❌ НеисправнаFaulty
OL на любой паре — обрыв; заметно разные значения пар у трёхфазного/BLDC; любое показание на корпус — пробой, мотор под замену. Мотор звонится нормально, но не работает — проверить датчик Холла/скорости, жгут и плату/MCU.
OL on any pair — open; clearly unequal pairs on 3-phase/BLDC; any reading to ground — shorted, replace. Motor reads OK but will not run — check the Hall/speed sensor, harness and board/MCU.
Обесточить. Сначала исключить простое: ремень/муфта целы? Барабан крутится рукой свободно (нет заклинивания подшипников или постороннего предмета)?
Unplug. Rule out the simple stuff: belt/coupling intact? Drum turns freely by hand (no seized bearing or foreign object)?
Снять разъём мотора (direct drive LG — сняв заднюю панель, на статоре; VMW/Duet — снизу или сзади).
Unplug the motor connector (LG direct drive — rear panel off, at the stator; VMW/Duet — bottom or rear).
Померить сопротивление каждой пары обмоток. У трёхфазных и BLDC все три пары (A–B, B–C, A–C) должны быть почти одинаковыми.
Measure each winding pair. On 3-phase and BLDC motors all three pairs (A–B, B–C, A–C) should be nearly equal.
Проверка на корпус: один щуп на любой контакт обмотки, другой — на металл статора/корпуса мотора.
Ground check: one probe on any winding pin, the other on the stator/motor metal.
Для direct drive осмотреть статор (сколотые зубья, оплавление) и магниты ротора (отклеенные, треснувшие).
On direct drive, inspect the stator (chipped poles, melted spots) and rotor magnets (loose, cracked).
🔧 ЗаменаReplacement
- LG/Samsung front-load direct drive: снять заднюю панель, открутить центральный болт ротора (часто 17 мм, удерживая барабан), снять ротор (держится магнитом — тянуть ровно), открутить болты статора (придерживать — может упасть), снять разъёмы и датчик Холла, поставить новый статор.
- Whirlpool VMW/Amana top-load: положить машину на перед, снять кожух шкива и ремень, открутить 2 болта 13 мм, сдвинуть и снять мотор, переставить разъём. После замены — прогнать калибровку (calibration cycle).
- Старый Whirlpool direct drive: снять корпус, отщёлкнуть насос и мотор, снять мотор с муфты.
- LG/Samsung front-load direct drive: remove the rear panel, remove the center rotor bolt (often 17 mm, hold the drum), pull the rotor straight off (magnetic — pull evenly), remove the stator bolts (support it — it can drop), unplug the harness and Hall sensor, fit the new stator.
- Whirlpool VMW/Amana top-load: lay the washer on its front, remove the pulley cover and belt, remove 2 × 13 mm bolts, slide out the motor, move the connector. Run the calibration cycle afterward.
- Old Whirlpool direct drive: remove the cabinet, unclip pump and motor, pull the motor off the coupling.

💡 Заметки мастераTech notes
- Мотор — дорогая деталь. Прежде чем заказывать: исключить ремень, муфту, конденсатор, датчик Холла, жгут (у LG провода перетираются у бака) и плату/MCU.The motor is expensive. Before ordering, rule out belt, coupling, capacitor, Hall sensor, harness (on LG the wires chafe near the tub) and the board/MCU.
- У LG ошибка **LE** часто лечится заменой датчика Холла или проводки, а не статора.On LG an **LE** error is often fixed by the Hall sensor or harness, not the stator.
